Security
Pinewood Village is an 8 hectare site with a perimeter boundary of 1,2 kilometers. The perimeter boundary is secured with a high voltage electric fence as well as monitored security cameras. The single entrance / exit point to the village; for residents, visitors, contractors, workers or staff is controlled 24 hours per day by two duty guards, from an outsourced security firm.

Recreation Centre
The modern Recreation Centre at Pinewood Village is a hub of activity for residents. The upper level features a meeting room and a versatile multi-function room. Downstairs, residents enjoy a heated indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped gymnasium, and two pool tables.

Community Centre
The impressive Community Centre complex offers residents a cozy communal lounge with a dual-aspect fireplace, perfect for winter gatherings. The communal lounge opens onto the Knotty Pine Coffee Bar and Social Drinks Lounge area, where residents can entertain guests while watching sports or other entertainment on the large-screen TV.
The spacious Restaurant, seating 150 people, serves daily luncheons from Monday to Friday and on Sundays. Saturday offers a take-away option only. Special dietary menus can be arranged with the caterer upon request. Residents often invite family and friends, especially for the popular Sunday Roast lunch.

Library
The Errington Library faces onto the Memorial Rose Garden and offers hours of leisurely reading, with an extensive selection for the residents to choose from. It is open daily and local newspapers are available together with numerous books, magazines, DVD’s and puzzles, many of which have been donated by residents and their families.

Residents have access to a laundry with token-operated washing machines and tumble dryers capable of handling large items not suitable for home machines.

Open four days a week, the Hair Port Salon offers competitive rates for both ladies and gentlemen.

Gardens
The Garden Committee oversees maintenance of all common areas. Routine tasks like mowing and edge trimming are handled fortnightly by an outsourced contractor and are included in the monthly levy. Residents may arrange more intensive gardening for their private gardens at their own expense.

Hospitality Suites
Two modern hospitality suites are available for residents’ visiting family or friends at a reasonable daily rate. Each suite accommodates two adults and two children and is self-catering. Bookings can be made through Reception.
